Return, Exchange and Refund Policy
Hassle Free 30 Day Return Policy
We offer a 30 day return policy (from date of confirmed delivery receipt). If 30 days has past since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase (i.e order number) and that you request an RMA number by sending us a message to cs@thehomeoutfitter. Please include your order number in your request.
- We only exchange/replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email to email@example.com, you will receive exchange instructions.
- If you simply change your mind and need to return an item, no problem. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item or you can request a discounted prepaid return label which can be deducted from your refund. Outbound shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
- If you receive an item that is damaged during transit please contact us immediately (with 2 business days of receipt) for instructions. You will need to keep ALL packing material (including the shipping box) and the item until you receive those instructions due to claim requirements.
- Due to the custom nature of the products, unfortunately we can not accept returns on made to order furniture or personalized item (unless the personalization is wrong). If you do return these types of items you will be responsible for all return shipping and incur a 50% restock fee.
- Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer or contact them directly for return instructions. Doing this will create a considerable delay in authorizing and sending return instructions to you therefore delaying and processing your refund or exchange.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your return product to reach us may vary. Please allow 10 business days for your return to reach us and the refund to be processed or your exchange to be shipped back to you.
It is recommended that you consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item therefore shipping via a trackable means is highly recommended.
